Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern every booking made on louvre-tickets.paris (the "Website"), operated by Valor Tour LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (State File No. 105315000) ("we", "us", "our"). By placing a booking you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy and Cookie Policy. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Who we are and what we sell
We are an independent reseller and organiser of tickets, tours and experiences in and around Paris. We are not the official ticket office of the Louvre Museum, the Musée d'Orsay, the Palace of Versailles or any other venue, and we are not affiliated with them.
Our products (each a "Product") may consist of one or more of the following:
- an entry ticket to a museum, palace or attraction (the "Venue");
- services we provide or organise, such as guided tours, audio guide apps or river cruises;
- our booking, customer support and ticket-handling service.
Each Product page states what is included. Entry tickets remain subject to the rules and conditions of the Venue that issues them. Services provided by third-party partners (for example cruise operators) are also subject to their own conditions, which we will pass on to you where relevant.
2. Prices
- All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include all applicable taxes and our service fee, unless stated otherwise.
- Our prices are packaged or itemised per service and may be higher than the face value of an entry ticket sold directly by the Venue, because they include additional services and our booking service.
- Reduced rates (youth, child) are only valid if the visitor meets the Venue's eligibility criteria. You may be asked to show proof of age or residence at the entrance.
- We may change prices at any time, but the price confirmed at the time of your booking will not change.
- If a Product is shown at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical or typing error, we may cancel the booking and refund you in full.
3. Booking and contract
You select a Product, date, time slot and number of visitors, enter your details and pay. Your booking is a binding offer. The contract is concluded when we send you a booking confirmation by email. If a booking cannot be fulfilled (for example because the time slot has sold out at the Venue), we will offer you an alternative date or time or refund you in full.
You are responsible for providing accurate details, in particular a valid email address and the correct visit date, time and visitor categories. Please check your confirmation as soon as you receive it and contact us immediately if anything is wrong.
You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
4. Payment
Payment is taken in full at the time of booking through our payment provider Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Your bank or card issuer may charge fees for payments in euros or from outside the euro area; these are your responsibility.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Bookings for which a payment is reversed or charged back may be cancelled and the tickets invalidated.
5. Delivery of tickets
E-tickets and visit instructions are sent by email, usually within minutes and at the latest before your visit. If you have not received them within 24 hours of booking, or at least 24 hours before your visit for last-minute bookings, check your spam folder and then contact us. Tickets are personal to the booking and must not be resold.
6. No right of withdrawal
Our Products are leisure services provided on a specific date or within a specific period. Under Article 16(l) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and the equivalent national laws, the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to these bookings.
7. Cancellations and changes by you
- Unless the Product page expressly states a different (more favourable) cancellation policy, bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled, because tickets are issued for a fixed date and time.
- Requests to change the date or time are treated as a goodwill gesture, subject to availability and to the Venue's rules, and may incur a price difference.
- No refund is due if you arrive late, miss your time slot, are refused entry because you do not comply with the Venue's rules or eligibility criteria, or use only part of a Product.
8. Cancellations and changes by the Venue or by us
- If a Venue cancels your visit or closes on your date (for example because of a strike, security measure, technical incident or official order), we will offer you a new date or a refund of the amount paid for the affected part of the Product, or the full price if the Product can no longer be provided at all.
- Temporary closures of individual rooms, galleries or artworks, changes to the visitor route, queues at security checks and crowds are decided by the Venue and do not entitle you to a refund.
- We may replace a guide or adjust a tour itinerary for reasons beyond our control, provided the essential nature of the Product is preserved.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of our decision. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur as a result of a cancellation.
9. Your visit
- Arrive at the meeting point or entrance at least 15 minutes before your time slot.
- Follow the Venue's rules, including security checks and restrictions on bags, food and photography.
- Bring valid photo ID and any proof required for reduced rates.
- The Venue may refuse entry to anyone who does not comply with its rules; this does not entitle you to a refund.
10. Our liability
We are responsible for providing the services we have agreed to provide with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law:
- our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the price you paid for that booking;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost travel or accommodation costs, or for the acts and omissions of Venues and third-party providers, for which their own conditions apply;
- we are not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), such as strikes, extreme weather, pandemics, terrorism, government measures or failures of public transport or utilities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
11. Use of the Website
You may not use the Website for any unlawful purpose, to make speculative or fraudulent bookings, or to scrape, copy or resell its content or our Products without our written permission. We may refuse or cancel bookings that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or in breach of these Terms.
12. Complaints
If something goes wrong, please contact us at hello@louvre-tickets.paris as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after your visit date, with your booking reference. We aim to reply within 7 working days. Complaints about the Venue itself (for example its facilities or staff) may need to be addressed to the Venue directly; we will help where we can.
13. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any booking are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country with mandatory consumer protection rules, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of those mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Otherwise, the courts of the State of Delaware have jurisdiction.
14. Language
These Terms are available in several languages. In case of any discrepancy between language versions, the English version prevails.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
